Jan was born Suffolk, England, but grew up in Glasgow, Scotland and has been researching Family History for 20 years, initially on a part time basis and has a wealth of knowledge and experience of record searching.

Indeed, her own Family History now spans 12 generations, and covers Ireland, Scotland and England and as a result has found living family members in Perth Australia, Illinois USA, Ayrshire Scotland, Suffolk and Yorkshire, England!!


Helena is Jan's daughter and the newest member our team. An actress, (in a previous life) who's transient work life had left her longing to find her roots.
But it was a life defining time that led her to delve into the family history Jan had already mapped out for her! "Its great to at last have a sense of where I'm from,
to see what lives had been forged out by my ancestors, how the tapestry of life worked out for them and to find out that our history really can be a part of our future."

Helena will be dealing with Sales and Marketing. She hopes to help develop new ideas and promote our current services so that "Meet the Family Ltd" can grow upwards, so that one day the company will be a part of its own family history!.
